A mix of travel bucket lists
A bucket list is generally defined as a list of things a person wants to see or do prior to “kicking the bucket.” Continuing our bucket list series, today we’re giving you a glimpse into the lists of a few folks on the CWT NORAM Marketing team. Who knows? Maybe it will inspire a trip of your own!

- Where: Rome, Italy
Why: The history, the majesty, the architecture, and the romance. Ah, Roma.
- Where: Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
Why: The waterfalls there are breathtaking. I’ve seen pictures, and that was all it took to want to see it in person.
- Where: Prague, Czech Republic
Why: The history, the buildings, and the ambience. It seems like such a cool city.

- Where: South of France
Why: This destination has always intrigued me because I love the countryside, the food, the relaxed lifestyle, and to have an opportunity to mingle with the locals. Seems like a great place to disappear and experience the culture and people up close and personal.
- Where: Europe by river cruise
Why: Rive boating—what a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes view of the countryside and cityscapes of Europe! I’d get to experience the waterways that have always been of vital importance to those countries, while also being afforded the chance to get off and tour cities and famous landmarks along the way.
- Where: Australia and New Zealand
Why: The spectacular scenery, weather, friendly people, and amazing diversity in landscape; flora and fauna and culture—all huge draws for me!

- Where: Alaska via road trip through Canada
Why: Because life is a journey, not a destination . . . and this journey has moose.
- Where: The Azores
Why: This island nation in the middle of the Atlantic has a wild blend of cultures and cuisine. I’d love to experience that firsthand and among the locals.

- Where: Istanbul, Turkey—the Hagia Sophia
Why: Nothing illustrates this city’s history of empires better than the Hagia Sophia, a massive structure built to serve as a church that prompted Byzantine Emperor Justinian to boast that he had bested even Solomon himself. It was later converted into a mosque with the onset of the Ottoman Empire, and today it serves as a museum.
- Where: Timbuktu, Mali
Why: I always hear people use “all the way to Timbuktu” as synonymous for “really, really far away!” Wouldn’t it be cool to actually say you’ve been, “all the way to Timbuktu?” Been there, done that!
- Where: Paraná, Brazil—Iguaçu Falls
Why: Just as Niagara Falls shares a border with my home country and Canada, Iguaçu marks a portion of the border between Brazil and Argentina. The selling point for me? It’s twice as big! Its roar can literally be heard for miles.
