• Wrapping the summer in photos

    Vicky Laflamme
Since I kicked off the summer with a “Cottage or fly away vacationpost, I thought it would only be appropriate to wrap up the summer with some photos of my summer travels to the cottage.  There is nothing quite like a peaceful weekend in Canada’s North, and there’s nothing like a few photos of those weekends to help navigate through the long winter months.

Can you think of a better way to spend a summer evening than sitting on our cottage dock, with time to ponder life, and watch the world go by –with no internet, and nothing but the sounds of nature and your own thoughts.

Even on a rainy day, there’s something for everyone in this quiet setting.

And check out this view of the fields of Canola.  What a beautiful site in North Bruce Peninsula Canada!

And of course, there’s plenty to do on those not-so-rainy days, too…

And when the days come to a close, there’s still plenty to captivate visitors to Canada’s North, as evidenced by this view of one of many of the gorgeous sunsets over Pike Bay.

What about you?  Where did your adventures take you this summer, and what were some of the most amazing photos you captured?
