Could an app help with jet lag?
There is plenty of advice, homeopathic remedies, studies and more about how to limit the effects of jet lag. Now mathematicians at the University of Michigan have developed an app to help reduce jet lag’s effects.
The app, available for your iPhone and iPad, is called Entrain, and it helps you schedule your body’s exposure to light and darkness to help better prepare you for your new time zone. The app’s website says their schedule are “mathematically proven to adjust you to new time zones as quickly as possible.”
An version of the app for Android devices is being planned.
You can read more in a story on Mashable, at the Entrain app’s website, and in previous CWT Savvy Traveler posts about jet lag.
