The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA), just posted a helpful wrap-up of tips and reminders on their blog. Check it out for information about what items are prohibited, how to enroll in the TSA PreCheck program, traveling with medication, and more. On the topic of medication, one of our CWT colleagues recently traveled with medication and medical supplies, and found it to be quite easy – it just required removal of those items from her carry-on bag for easier inspection by security officers.
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) also offers a helpful search tool on its website to answer traveler questions about which items are permitted and prohibited. Additionally, travelers can find information about security wait times at Canadian airports and a tool to create a travel checklist on that website.
Have any tips to share with your fellow travelers? We’d love to hear them in the comments below.
