• What can travelers expect in 2016?

    Earlier this week, we launched our latest research, Travel Trends, Program Priorities, which shows travelers can expect new tools, better service, and a focus on safety and security.

    With travel managers putting traveler needs first, companies are embracing new technologies and ways of working, to improve traveler satisfaction.

    The report’s microsite combines a study of over 1,000 travel managers across the world, white papers, client case studies and additional research, meaning travelers and travel managers alike can get a comprehensive look at the year ahead, whether they’re reading about the key market developments, or diving into the topics that will affect their programs.

    Research highlights:
    • Safety and security will be high on the agenda in 2016. Overall, 80% of those surveyed expect it to have a high or very high impact on their programs;
    • 63% of travel managers expect mobile and wearable technology to have a big impact on their travel program next year; and
    • Travel managers are looking for more data on traveler behavior and program performance: 58% said they expect having more data to consolidate will impact their program.

    Other trends identified as key to traveler experience include the sharing economy, virtual payment and big data.

    We’ll be investigating some of the trends in more detail at the start of 2016, and for more information, including interviews with industry experts, visit our interactive press pack: http://releasd.com/1216.
